Entertainment Nook

Today I'm gonna show you guys a sneak peak of my living room decor. This room is a work in progress but I am happy with it so far. I see everyone in blog land scrunching up runners so I thought I would try this idea and I love it!! I've had this runner laying around for awhile and just haven't known what to do with it. There is no other place for our electronic equipment to go so I had to improvise and try and make it look as best as possible. What do you guys think?

I was just at Hobby Lobby the other day and saw this and loved it. You are supposed to hang it on the wall but I
decided to use it as a charger.

I am a little OCD when it comes to things being balanced so I've added the same items on either side.

Well thats it for today guys I hope you enjoyed your visit I am linking up to Marty, Susan, Carrie, Kara, Kim and Mary

Well, I for one, like the scrunched-up look. And your Hobby Lobby find goes very well with the runner. You're on your way.

I love the runner...I have never tried the scrunched look...I am sort of a neat freak and tend to straiten out my tablecloths and runner constantly!! ;-D I think your vignette is a great distraction from the electronics. I have tried to hide the TV behind potted plants but hubby doesn't like that idea!!

Jane

I noticed that scrunched look the other day and thought I need to try it too! LOL! Your runner is very pretty and I like your plate on top there. Great camoflauge! I barely even noticed the stereo! :))

Hi Allyson-
This is great! You've come up with a great way to disguise the electronic hardware and create a decorative look! There is nothing wrong with symmetry! I love animal prints too...great choices on all of it!

I love the zebra runner and scrunched up looks even better! And taking the wall art and turning it into a charger was a great idea because it really pops against the runner! Good job!

I love your runner and charger. My husband has gone CRAZ-E with his electronics stuff and it drives me nuts having to decorate around it. You did a great job...can't wait to see more! XOXO ~Liz
