Meet Rexy & Walter

Hey everyone! I am joining Debbie for her Pet Party!

Meet Rexy she is our Boston Terrier. She is 4 years old and was our first (baby) :).

Here she is the day we brought her home. She has one blue eye and one brown which is unique for her breed. The breeder we got her from has two females and one male and she said every time the one female has puppies one ends up with a blue eye.

She loves to snore, sleep and pass gas yes I just said that! :)

Here she is doing what she does best giving kisses with little baby Jack who was 5 months in this picture he is so chubby I miss his rolls :)

Now, Meet Walter he is our Maltese who is 1. I used to work as a Hairstylist and one of my clients whom I still do her hair from home gave him to us a week before Christmas. He was very neglected, they always had him in a kennel (which he hates with a siring passion) or outside. He does like to bark which is annoying, but they had a shocking bark collar on him which created scabs on his throat because they never took it off of him. Poor doggy. He is very much a people person kind of dog he wont even go outside unless you go with him. I think he has adjusted to us very well.

We just went and got his haircut yesterday, poor dog was so matted from not being brushed they had to cut his hair so  short!

Here is what he looked like when we first got him.

Well, that's it for today guys. I hope you enjoyed meeting my pets! Have a great week!

Allyson~ Your puppies are so adorable! From one Boston Terrier to another ... this bread is "known" for it's gassiness. LOL

Bless your heart, 2 rambunctious dogs (yes, I know Rexy sleeps a lot, but I'm sure she has her moments.) and Jack. I'm sure there is never a dull moment at your house.

Rexy is just beautiful with the blue and brown eyes! They glow! And Walter is precious! How sweet of you to take him in and care for him. I think they will be the best of friends...good therapy for Walter.

Allyson - your too funny, but yes Bostons do love to snore and pass gas. My SIL has one, but I have never seen one with a blue eye. How adorable! And so kind of you to take in Walter - He sure did need your family and Rexy.

Rexy and Walter are adorable! I'm so glad you have opened up your loving home to Walter. It makes me so sad when dogs are neglected. When we get another dog it will definitely be a rescue dog. Thanks for sharing your precious puppies with us!

Hi Allyson
Thanks so much for stopping by the Back Porch.

Loved this post! My grandmother always had Boston Terriers. They were my first experience with dogs and I fell in love with them when I was a toddler, way back in the 1940's. Your post brought back happy and nostalgic memories.

Hi Allyson, Thanks for checking out my blog today! We have 2 dogs too! Jake and Prince- they are now 10 and 11, and we've had them since they were just weeks old! Their puppy pics make me teary-eyed like my kids' baby pics :)
